5 Steps in Buying A Home
We can divide the buying process into really 5 big steps for you, all of which are important. It is always best to know the process before you buy. In knowledge, there is less fear since you know what is going to happen next or what needs to be done next. It makes you a much more informed as well as a comfortable buyer in the marketplace.
1. Deciding whether this is the right time to buy. We can give you information to help you make that decision. We may think it is a great time for you to buy but your circumstances and goals may not make it that perfect time for you. We need to look at all the facts and your desires closely.
2. Getting Pre-Approved. Nothing is more disheartening than to fall in love with a home that you just must have but you can't have because you don't qualify for that house. It is best to make sure you are comfortable with a payment even if you can qualify for more.
3. Finding That House. If we are any good as your Real Estate Consultants, we have listened to your needs and desires in a house and we don't need to be showing you 50 houses to find it. If an agent is showing you that many houses, either you are not ready to buy or the agent is not listening to you.
4. Negotiations. That's what you hire us for, for our years of experience in negotiating and representing you in the process including the contract terms and the repairs. We want to treat your money just like it is ours. Like a Pit Bull, we want you to keep as much money as you can or make as much money as you can.
5. Title Work, Appraisals, Underwriting, Celebration. You don't have too much to do with the items listed above but they have to be done before you own a house and get a loan and we can go to Celebration. That is our job. Making sure these things are done according to the contract and in a timely manner.
