Do You Have Concerns About Homeownership?

According to National Association of Realtors (NAR) 2010 National Housing Pulse Survey, 7 out of 10 Americans say job layoffs and unemployment are big problems to home ownership.

Most do believe this is a good time to buy a house but there are obstacles they are concerned about: 79% surveyed said having enough money for the down payment and closing costs was a concern, and 73% stated the lack of confidence in getting approved for a mortgage was an obstacle.

Interesting that 1/4th of the renters surveyed said they are thinking more about buying a home this year than they did last year. It is still a good time to buy a home!
